The role oversees onboarding, benefits, records, and policy implementation, ensuring compliance and confidential handling of personnel data. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in HR or related field and at least 3 years of progressive HR experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Human Resources department.
• Lead, train, and support HR staff to ensure effective performance and service delivery.
• Oversee onboarding processes.
• Ensure employee personnel files and HR records are accurate, current, and confidential.
• Administer and monitor company policies, procedures, and HR programs.
• Handle employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, complaints, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Support managers and employees with HR-related questions and guidance.
• Assist with performance management, employee evaluations, and professional development programs.
• Oversee attendance, leave, timekeeping, and payroll-related HR processes.
• Coordinate employee benefits, enrollment, and related communications.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation for management.
• Assist with workplace investigations and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Assist in development and implement HR initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
• Perform other HR duties and special projects as assigned.
