Job summary

ModWash is seeking a General Manager in Greenville, SC to act as the CEO of the site, owning people, performance, culture, and profitability. You will lead with an ownership mindset, uphold ModWash standards, and drive long-term success through strong decision making and guest-focused execution.

You will hire and develop a capable team, manage operations, maintain brand integrity, and continually improve site performance while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Create and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Attract, recruit, train, and develop attendants and the assistant general manager.
• Trained to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Manage chemical inventory, scheduling, labor costs, and equipment functionality.
• Perform administrative duties including disciplinary actions, scheduling, and life cycle recruiting.
• Ensure safety, compliance with policies, and proper training of staff.
• Lead the team with a strong sales mindset, driving performance and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Own site level P&L results (labor, revenue, expenses, membership growth, guest satisfaction).
• Hire, develop, and retain a winning team; build future leaders and set culture and execution expectations.
• Make real-time operational decisions; adjust staffing and priorities to meet business needs.
• Be the face of ModWash in the community and protect/elevate the brand with guest interactions.
• Conduct timely performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions per policy.
