Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a General Foreperson to oversee daily field operations, coordinate with management on staffing and safety protocols, and mentor crews. The role emphasizes routine site troubleshooting, training, and performance management to ensure productive, compliant job execution.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of foreperson experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a CDL.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and follow prints, visualize a job build, and apply critical thinking to solve problems and identify job-site hazards.
• Ability to work safely, productively, and follow directions.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily communication with client representatives and project stakeholders.
• Carry out job site inspections and mitigate hazards.
• Manage job costs and reconcile invoices.
• Interpret orders and report work accurately in the customer system.
• Direct emergencies and assist with incident reports and investigations.
• Directs/supervises crew on new tasks and safety practices.
• Administers training, discipline, and policy interpretation.
• Participate in regional safety training and comply with safety policies.
