The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Travel across the Southeast and Texas may be required; strong supervisory skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related experience in site construction or restoration.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience using GPS (Topcon or Trimble) preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the Southeast US and Texas.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project needs (labor, equipment, materials) in a timely manner
• Read and understand project plans and specifications
• Complete required daily reports (timesheets, production, inspections)
• Ensure crew follows safety policies and procedures
• Maintain safe, clean and orderly jobsites and equipment
• Conduct weekly safety meetings
• Adapt to changing site conditions
• May perform other related duties.

Central North Carolina Based Construction Company, looking for experienced FOREMAN to join our team for projects throughout the Southeast United States. Responsibilities include managing and directing crews involved in stream and/or wetland restoration projects. A strong background in fine grading using GPS and leadership experience is critical. A Site Foreman oversees the daily tasks, ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule and within budget expectations.

Responsibilities

Work Environment/Physical Condition

• Routinely lift 20 lbs and on occasion, up to 75 lbs


• Safely ascend and descend heavy equipment


• Work through all types of weather conditions and terrain


• Lift, carry, stand, or walk on uneven, possibly wet/slick, terrain
