Job summary

Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced foreman to oversee all activities at the construction site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time project delivery. You will mentor crew, coordinate subcontractors, and manage materials and schedules to stay within budget.

The role requires proven foreman experience, ability to track progress, and a commitment to safety. A rigorous background check, drug screen, and physical are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Verifiable work experience as a foreman on construction projects.
• Ability to manage schedules and complete projects on time and on budget.
• Experience supervising personnel including subcontractors and materials.
• Must pass drug screen, physical and criminal background check.
• Highly motivated candidate.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and supervises the work of all site personnel and subcontractors.
• Determines work priorities and coordinates activities to keep the project on schedule.
• Oversees contracts terms and conditions.
• Allocates work among workers and coordinates across trades.
• Collaborates with trades to ensure work aligns with plans and specs.
• Maintains a culture of safety and enforces safety policies.
• Acts as liaison to owner and coordinates plans with owner.
• Sourcing materials and coordinating deliveries to match progress.
• Maintains inventory of tools, materials and equipment.
• Keeps daily project records and reports to the office.
• Leads weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors.
• Maintains overall project schedule with short-term intervals.
• Ensures quality control per plans and specs and coordinates inspections.
• Manages project budget and labor productivity.
• Manages company and rental equipment for productivity and cost control.
• Tracks time and reports to the office promptly.
• Coordinates project closeout and punch lists with owner satisfaction.
• Maintains good teamwork with the project manager and mentors subordinates.
