Job summary

Kinsley Construction Inc. is seeking experienced Foremen to join our Civil Site crews in Hagerstown, MD.

The ideal candidates will lead with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude across project areas in Hagerstown, Frederick, Winchester, and nearby locations. This safety-sensitive role requires coordinating crews, interpreting plans, and ensuring on-time, quality completion while adhering to site safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field leadership experience.
• Proficiency in GPS systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and enforcement.
• Ability to work in a crew-based, fast-paced environment.
• Punctual, dependable, and capable of manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Physically capable of climbing, lifting, and material handling.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 members.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, tools, materials, and equipment for project completion.
• Manage and schedule subcontractors.
• Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specs for accurate execution.
• Oversee production to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Complete and maintain daily timesheets and logs.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed on-site.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley is seeking experienced Foremen to join our growing Civil Site crews in Hagerstown, MD. The ideal candidates will be motivated leaders with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. Project areas for this position isin the Hagerstown, Frederick, Winchester, and surrounding areas.

Please note that this position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

SITE FOREMAN

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of field leadership experience.
• Proficiency in GPS systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to enforce them.
• Ability to work in a crew-based, fast-paced environment.
• Punctual, dependable, and capable of handling manual labor for extended periods, including work in unfavorable weather conditions.
• Physically capable of performing climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and material handling tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
