Job summary

Lilly Houston is seeking a Manager - HSE, Fire and Life Safety Inspector to lead fire prevention and life safety programs at the new Houston site. You will oversee fire protection systems, code compliance, and site readiness for inspections and audits, acting as the primary liaison with regulators and insurers.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, regulatory experience, and the ability to work across engineering, construction, and operations teams in a regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in fire inspection, fire prevention, or related fields.
• Required certifications include Fire Inspector II, Firefighter I/II, EMT, Hazardous Materials Technician, and NIMS IS-100/IS-200/IS-700/IS-800.
• Ability to obtain and maintain regulatory approvals and wear respiratory protection and SCBA.

Responsibilities

• Act as the site's Fire Marshal and lead authority for fire and life safety compliance.
• Coordinate and support inspections, permitting, and regulatory interactions.
• Manage fire protection systems, impairments, and related risk mitigation measures.
• Support emergency preparedness, drills, and response planning.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies, engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.
