Job summary

East West Manufacturing is seeking a Site Controller for its Vancouver, WA site. You will lead all finance and accounting activities, ensure accurate reporting, and partner with site leadership to drive cost control and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and leadership experience. Expect close collaboration with operations, supply chain, and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax principles, and manufacturing cost accounting.
• 5+ years in accounting within a manufacturing environment; electronics contract manufacturing is a plus.
• 3–5 years in a Site Controller-level role and 3–5 years leading a finance team.
• Familiarity with OEE, yield, scrap rates, and throughput metrics.
• Proficient with SAP or Oracle ERP and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, product costing, inventory valuation, scrap and variances.
• Deliver financial statements, KPIs, and performance analyses to leadership.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, valuation, and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor production efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and manage investments in equipment.
• Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance across site operations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and address findings.
• Provide data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions for the site.
• Mentor and develop the finance team and collaborate cross-functionally.
