Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major water infrastructure project in Wichita, Kansas. You will support daily site delivery, perform setting out and surveying, and coordinate with Site Agent and Project Manager to keep the programme on track.

You will ensure works adhere to drawings, RAMS and permits, while maintaining QA records and promoting a strong safety culture on site. CSCS is required; SMSTS/SSSTS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out and delivering civil engineering works.
• Proficient with surveying equipment including GPS and Total Station.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practice.
• Experience producing as-built records and QA documentation.
• CSCS Card is required; SMSTS/SSSTS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day delivery of water and civil engineering works.
• Carry out setting out and surveying activities to design specs.
• Coordinate daily site activities with Site Agent and Project Manager.
• Ensure works follow drawings, RAMS, permits and procedures.
• Monitor progress and provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain quality standards and record test results.
• Assist with temporary works, materials, plant and labour planning.
• Promote health, safety and environmental culture on site.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records and reports.
• Liaise with designers, subcontractors and client representatives.
