Job summary

Kier is seeking a Site Engineer - Civils for a role based in Calvert. The project involves complex civil works including bridges, road realignments, earthworks, drainage systems and structures.

The role is based on-site with 45 hours per week, with some flexibility; sponsorship cannot be offered. You will set out, survey, ensure quality and compliance on site, and provide technical support to ensure safety and accuracy in line with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering is required.
• Demonstrable site experience on civil engineering projects.
• Experience in structures, highways, drainage and earthworks.
• Competent with setting out equipment and surveying techniques.
• CSCS Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Set out works in line with drawings and specs; verify levels and alignment.
• Complete inspections, ITP records and quality documentation.
• Support delivery of structures, highways, drainage and earthworks on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams for safe delivery.
• Adhere to RAMS and promote safe working practices.
