Job summary

FootBridge is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major industrial project in Bowling Green, OH. This is a 6–8-month contract opportunity with per diem available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include designing power distribution, developing specs and construction docs, and producing electrical deliverables. You will coordinate with teams and support field installation, commissioning, and startup while ensuring NEC/ANSI/NEMA/NFPA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution for industrial facilities.
• Experience with substations, transformers, switchgear, and power station electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, and NFPA standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
• Ability to manage onsite projects with minimal supervision.
• PE license or EIT preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, grounding, and electrical systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop equipment specs, construction docs, and contractor scopes of work.
• Prepare deliverables: one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, conduit layouts, motor schematics.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and client personnel.
• Support field installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical codes and industry standards.
