Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Site EHS Manager to lead environmental health and safety programs at a Kansas City metro site. You will oversee the IMS, drive regulatory compliance, and coordinate with management on risk reduction and incident response.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree (EHS preferred) and at least three years of EHS experience in industrial settings, plus strong English and knowledge of ISO 14001/45001. This on-site role offers growth in a global mobility company.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent education, ideally EHS
• Minimum three years of experience in EHS, industrial or technical environments
• Good command of English and knowledge of EHS regulations and ISO 14001/45001 standards

Responsibilities

• Serve as Management Representative for the Environmental Management System (IMS)
• Ensure EHS control plan is fully implemented (training, maintenance, sampling and monitoring)
• Ensure establishment, implementation, maintenance and operation of Environmental IMS and communicate requirements
• Report on IMS performance to top management
• Develop and maintain documentation to support energy management and action plans
• Analyze accidents and incidents to set action plans with management
• Evaluate working conditions and advise on non-conformances and improvements
• Coordinate corporate, divisional and legal reporting; liaise with external bodies
• Approve new chemicals for use in the plant and ensure IMS management
• Authority to stop any process endangering safety, health or environment
• Coordinate with Energy Champion and energy programs
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and be part of response committee
• Manage safety audits and Top safety observation program
• Source and validate PPE with MRO buyer
