A large food manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a Safety Manager to maintain EHS compliance and lead continuous improvements at the sites within the accountable states of Kansas and Missouri. The EHS Manager will be expected to travel regularly, engaging with various levels of the organization and providing necessary regulatory compliance support.

The Role:

• Oversee workplace safety matters and environmental compliance for assigned locations within the region.
• Approximately 50% travel to sites within MO and KS.
• Implement EHS policies and programs following local/state/federal, and corporate standards.
• Provide and support all required training mandated by regulatory and corporate EHS guidelines.
• Work with assigned locations to identify risks and develop corrective action plans, and track to completion

The Candidate:

• 3+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or other related field preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, workers' compensation, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
