Job summary

OPmobility SE is seeking a Site EHS Manager for the Kansas City Metro site to lead environmental, health and safety management systems and drive compliance with ISO standards. You will act as Management Representative for the IMS, coordinate energy programs, and oversee audits, training, and emergency planning.

The role requires an engineering degree with EHS focus and at least three years of relevant experience, plus strong English and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with EHS focus.
• Minimum three years of experience in EHS/industrial environments.
• Good command of English and knowledge of EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Management Representative for the Environmental Management System (IMS).
• Ensure EHS control plan is fully implemented (Training, Maintenance, sampling and monitoring…).
• Establish, implement, maintain and ensure operation of the Environmental IMS; communicate and follow requirements.
• Report on IMS performance to top management.
• Develop and maintain documentation to support energy management and the Energy Champion plan.
• Analyze accidents, incidents and illnesses to set action plans with management.
• Evaluate working conditions and site conformity to legislation; advise on non-conformances and improvements.
• Ensure corporate, divisional and legal reporting; liaise with external bodies.
• Approve new chemicals for use in the plant and ensure proper management.
• Authority to stop any process endangering safety/health or environment; follow IMS procedures.
• Coordinate follow-up with Energy Champion and energy programs.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities and participate in response committees.
• Manage safety audits and Top safety observation program.
• Source and validate appropriate PPE with Management and MRO buyer.
