Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking an Site Environmental Health and Safety Manager to design, implement, and manage all safety, health, and environmental programs at the site level in Torrance, CA. You will ensure federal, state, and local regulatory compliance while promoting a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

You will lead audits, incident investigations, training, and contractor safety, coordinating with ESG teams to minimize risk and environmental impact in a high-growth energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• 5–7 years of EHS leadership experience in industrial settings.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations; CSP/ASP/CHMM desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA and local agencies.
• Develop and manage on-site EHS policies, procedures and manuals.
• Lead safety audits, incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Design and deliver safety training for employees and contractors.
• Oversee waste management and environmental permit compliance.
