Job summary

Dakota Bodies, LLC is seeking an EHS Site Leader to oversee day-to-day safety at the Watertown site and partner with local leadership to implement EHS procedures and drive improvements. The role develops and enforces policies, conducts site assessments, and delivers training to ensure compliance with laws and company standards while reducing EHS risks.

Requirements include 3-5 years in EHS management, a BS in Occupational Health and Safety, and CSP/OHST or similar certification.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in EHS management.
• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• CSP/OHST or similar certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and data management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong daily presence in operations to promote safe behaviors.
• Deliver guidance on EHS programs at employee, supervisor, and management levels.
• Evaluate facility EHS conditions, identify risks, and develop action plans.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct job hazard analyses and recommend preventative measures.
• Develop and deliver employee training on EHS programs and orientation.
• Maintain EHS records and metrics, using Gensuite for reporting.
• Lead workers' compensation-related injury management.
• Coordinate hazardous waste management and disposal as needed.
• Chair safety committees and drive continuous safety improvements.
