The role focuses on developing sustainable EHS initiatives, training leaders and staff, and driving cross‑functional improvements while coordinating with regulators and internal teams to minimize risk and protect workers.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of EHS leadership experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with OSHA, US EPA, and state/local regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related technical discipline required.
• CSP/CIH/CHMM or similar credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage plans to train managers, supervisors, and employees in worksite safety and EHSMS.
• Lead incident investigations, audits, and performance evaluation for the site.
• Ensure adherence to applicable health, safety, and environmental laws and company policies.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and manage permits, licenses, and registrations.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain ISO 14001/45001 EHSMS compliance.
