Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a SITE EHS APPRENTICE in Anderson, SC to support our safety-focused operations. You will identify unsafe conditions, perform safety audits, and contribute to the top safety observation program, helping to maintain compliant practices on site.

You’ll collaborate with management and maintenance to source PPE, inspect installations and chemicals, and keep documentation up to date as part of a growing, global mobility company.

Responsibilities

• Identifies unsafe conditions and environmental risks and recommends action plans
• Performs safety audits
• Contributes to Top safety observation program
• Performs shop floor inspections related to EHS work (security checks/ systems and installations, compliance...).
• Can contribute in collaboration with Management and MRO buyer, to source and validate appropriate personal protective equipment
• Checks the conformity of each new installation, production means and of each chemical product used on site
• Participate with sub-contractors and maintenance team to establish the prevention scheme
• Keeps all necessary documentation up to date
