Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for Marian E. McKeown Elementary School in Newton, NJ for the 2026–2027 school year. Schedule follows the school calendar with morning 7:00–8:15 and afternoon 3:00–6:00 slots; opportunities for morning, afternoon, or both.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour for part-time, non-exempt work. Employer-paid childcare is a featured benefit, and telehealth, dental, and other options are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college/early childhood coursework preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting.
• Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required.
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.
