Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Park Elementary School in Columbia, PA for the 2026–2027 school year. The role follows the school calendar and pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on education and experience.

Responsibilities include leading STEAM, fitness, and homework activities; supervising children and staff; maintaining safety and ratios; coordinating attendance and scheduling; and serving as liaison between

Qualifications

• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations
• Maintain child and staff files, attendance records, and required documentation onsite
• Keep the program organized and audit-ready
• Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support)
• Actively supervise children and staff, including playground oversight
• Maintain safe staff-to-child ratios and strong behavior management
• Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling
• Serve as liaison between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main office
• Communicate clearly and professionally using the Playground App
