Job summary

Alpha hires site leaders to run campuses, develop Guides, and coach students in life skills that build confidence and resilience. The Site Director will coach adult guides, lead weekly performance sessions, and model high standards while growing a program focused on real-world leadership beyond academics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or a related field.
• Directly managed adult employees on an ongoing basis.
• Selected at least one candidate for hire into their team.
• Taken and written at least one corrective action regarding an underperforming direct report.
• Proposed or approved termination of a direct report for performance.
• Sustained responsibility for learning, behavior, motivation, or growth of children aged 5–14 in relevant settings.
• Built, launched, or significantly grew a program, team, school, or initiative from the ground up.
• Used performance metrics and data to diagnose problems and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Guides to deliver Alpha's coaching model with consistency and high standards.
• Lead life skills workshops covering communication, focus, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students.
• Use data to identify coaching opportunities, remove barriers, and drive weekly improvements.
• Lead motivation sessions to help students own ambitious goals and achieve them.
• Maintain your own student cohort and model coaching excellence and accountability.
