Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is hiring a Site Director for Simonsdale Elementary to lead our before- and after-school program. You will manage daily operations, staffing, safety, and curriculum delivery to create a structured, engaging environment for students.

You'll oversee licensing compliance, build strong relationships with families and school staff, and coach a site team to run efficient, high-quality programs. This role requires leadership, reliability, and a passion for child development.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age and meet one of the listed educational/experience requirements.
• Experience leading programs for children in an educational setting is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met.
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.
