Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Site Director to lead a team of teachers, deliver engaging classroom experiences using our curriculum, and drive excellence in early education at the site level. You will supervise staff, maintain licensing compliance, recruit families, partner with parents and communities, and model exceptional service and educational standards daily.

Qualifications

• At least one year of teaching experience with ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team.
• Love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand.
• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, multitask and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Meet state guidelines for the role.
• Be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors; communicate in English.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a group of teachers to create unique and engaging classroom experiences.
• Ensure your site is operating effectively; maintain licensing, safety, and educational standards.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, state licensing authorities, and partners.
• Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites.
