Job summary

Glanbia Dairy Nutrition is seeking a Site Director to lead all plant operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across production, maintenance, engineering and supporting functions. The role focuses on engaging the workforce, developing leaders, and achieving zero-loss culture through GPS and TPM methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven leadership in plant operations, safety, quality, productivity and financial performance.
• Experience with TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, GPS or similar methodologies.
• Understanding of food safety, environmental, regulatory requirements (OSHA, SQF, FDA, PMO).

Responsibilities

• Lead from the production floor with a strong operational presence and coaching of leaders and staff.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analysis, loss reduction and GPS to boost productivity and profitability.
• Optimize use of personnel, equipment and facilities to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
• Develop, manage and deliver operational and capital budgets and capital projects.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and resolve issues.
• Ensure safety, environmental, quality and regulatory compliance across the site.
• Serve as primary site leader for regulatory inspections and critical operational issues.
• Develop and coach managers and employees, supporting growth and succession.
