Job summary

SB Energy seeks a Project Manager, Site Development to serve as the local site development lead for the PORTS-Pike Technology Campus gas generation project. You will collaborate with Data Center Construction, Development, Land & Real Estate, Permitting, Engineering, and Capital Markets teams.

The role requires 4+ years in project development and aBachelor’s degree, with 25% travel and on-site work at Piketon, OH. Competitive base pay and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 4+ years in project development, project management, environmental/permitting, or related field.
• 5-10 years of professional experience.
• Energy or data center industry experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting and related market trends.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience with MS Office, MS Project, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage development-phase deliverables including land, permitting, interconnection, engineering, and financing workstreams.
• Lead on-the-ground project development activities.
• Support Regional Director across site control, permits, wetlands, easements, and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare presentation materials and reports on development status for senior management.
• Support negotiating critical project agreements.
• Review interconnection, PPA, and EPC contracts; track deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on site evaluation, design, schedule, and execution.
• Assist in developing and tracking budgets, schedules, and forecast management.
