SB Energy Corp. seeks a Community Engagement Manager for Pike County, Ohio, to serve as the primary local contact for gas generation projects. You will build relationships with residents, officials, and businesses, and translate project information into clear public communications.

You will work with the data center team to coordinate outreach, manage community questions, and support timely responses while ensuring alignment with project timelines and regulatory milestones.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in community engagement, community or economic development, public affairs, local government, stakeholder relations, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public affairs, public administration, community development, business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with residents, public officials, businesses, and community organizations.
• Strong listening, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, including the ability to handle difficult conversations respectfully and follow through on concerns.
• Strong writing and public speaking skills, with the ability to explain complex project information in clear, accessible language.
• Experience organizing public meetings, outreach activities, or community programs.
• Ability to work with technical personnel to develop accurate public information and recognize when specialist input is needed.
• Strong organization and recordkeeping skills, including tracking stakeholder interactions, open issues, and commitments.
• Sound judgment when handling sensitive information, public concerns, and company commitments.
• Ability to be based in Pike County, Ohio, with regular in-person engagement throughout the surrounding community.

• Serve as the primary day-to-day community contact for SB Energy's gas generation projects in Pike County.
• Develop working relationships with residents, neighbors, officials, local businesses, and organizations.
• Attend local government meetings and community events to provide approved project information and gather feedback.
• Develop and implement a local engagement plan aligned with project milestones and permitting.
• Prepare updates, FAQs, presentations, and notices for community audiences.
• Coordinate communications about activities that may affect nearby communities and traffic.
• Organize community meetings, open houses, briefings, and site visits.
• Maintain a record of stakeholder interactions and track commitments through resolution.
