Job summary

GPD Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Site Development & Entitlements Project Coordinator to support site development, entitlements, and client communication. The role requires coordinating with multiple offices and disciplines to ensure timely project success.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree (preferred) or related field with 0–5 years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; BIM is a plus. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in civil site development/entitlements and/or project management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; BIM preferred.
• Experience with site planning, due diligence, civil design, permitting, and construction administration.
• Customer service focus and ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Project scheduling and tracking.
• Site planning.
• Meetings with clients daily/weekly as required.
• Due diligence including feasibility studies and planning/ zoning submissions.
• Permitting research, submittals, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with surveys, environmental and geotechnical studies.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, and civil engineers.
• Prepare project status reports and participate in conference calls.
• Assist in project administration and construction administration.

GPD is currently seeking aSite Development & Entitlements Project Coordinatorin ourAtlanta, GAoffice location.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, preferred, or other Engineering or Construction Management degree with 0 to 5years of experience in the field of civil engineering, stie development & entitlements, and/or project management.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, and preferred BIM.
• Experience with project site planning, due diligence, all aspects of civil design and documentation, permitting, and construction administration required.
• Experienced and comfortable working directly with the client providing timely updates on project status, discussing project scope, etc. Demonstrates a customer service focus.
• Ability to work within a team environment working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines.
• Must possess experience in coordinating with internal teams, including project planning, scheduling and tracking.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, professional writing skills and the ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities at one time.
• Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities will include:

• Project scheduling and tracking.
• Site planning.
• Meeting and communicating with clients daily/weekly as determined required.
• Due diligence including feasibility studies, planning and zoning presentations and submittals including variance applications.
• Permitting research, submittals, and follow-up.
• Coordinating other field services such as land and building surveys, environmental studies, and geotechnical studies.
• Coordinating with teams of architects, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineers.
• Project status reports and conference calls.
• Project Administration.
• Construction administration.
