What you'll do
Support the Head of Operations in Bitcoin Mining and Data Center Site Operations. Your role involves operational analysis, on-site coordination, third-party management, and strategic project implementation to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability across Giga’s energy and mining projects. Focus on making operations scalable and repeatable. Familiarity with Bitcoin mining is a plus but not required; we value data-driven, strategic, organized candidates comfortable in ambiguous environments.

Where you'll work
Remote from your home office if outside Houston, Long Beach, or San Francisco hubs. Occasional travel (4-8 days/month) to company sites, mining locations, and manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

1. Lead data-driven analysis of projects and initiatives for operational improvements.
2. Support Bitcoin mining site operations, managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure uptime and efficiency.
3. Analyze metrics like uptime, power utilization, and hashrate to identify improvements.
4. Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in logistics or electrical infrastructure.
5. Develop checklists, processes, and procedures to scale operations.
6. Collaborate with product management and post-sales teams for project success.
7. Present data-backed recommendations for process improvements.
8. Identify automation opportunities to enhance project execution.
9. Coordinate with global offices and sites to troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• 2-4+ years at top-tier management consulting, with strong business and strategic analysis skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects.
• Comfort in fast-paced, remote, or rugged environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
