Job summary

Stella Construction & Home Services is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for residential remodeling and custom homes. The role centers on field coordination, keeping job sites clean, organized, and moving forward so Project Managers and the Superintendent can focus on managing work.

This management-track position emphasizes organization, reliability, and proactive communication. Prior carpentry skills are not required; training is provided to cover the rest of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction or field coordination.
• Experience in logistics or trade-adjacent roles is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.

Responsibilities

• Own active jobsite condition, keep areas clean and ready for clients.
• Manage punchlists, document items, assign work to subs.
• Oversee dumpster program, permits, and disposal costs.
• Stage materials by reviewing schedules and needs.
• Drive company vehicles to supply and service sites.
• Receive deliveries, verify materials, and coordinate returns.
• Confirm subcontractors’ site presence and expectations.
• Keep JobTread notes and photos updated daily.
• Support managers and operations staff as needed.
