Job summary

Adventures Plus is seeking a Site Coordinator to supervise staff and oversee program development for one site, including before/after school, non-school days, and summer sessions. The role involves recruitment, hiring, staff communications, and maintaining training records.

You will work under the Staffing Supervisor and Adventures Plus Program Supervisor, coordinating scheduling, data management, and staff support. A bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 1 year (2080 hours) of experience working with children and 1 year (2080 hours) of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and 2 years (4160 hours) of experience working with children and 1 year (2080 hours) of supervisory experience.
• Associate's Degree (60 college credits) / CDA with 24 credits and 4 years (8320 hours) of experience working with children and 1 year (2080 hours) of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment efforts for Adventures Plus, including materials, events, and tracking applications and hires.
• Assist in selection and hiring of Site Leaders and others, including interviews and reference checks.
• Manage employee data, including files and background studies.
• Create/send staff newsletters with Adventures Plus Program Coordinator team.
• Coordinate substitutes, payroll approvals, trainings, and performance management.
• Keep Employee Handbook and orientation materials up to date.
• Support trainings and maintenance of online training logs for DCYF certification.
• Handle staff inquiries via Recruitment email/phone.
