Job summary

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a Site Coordinator for a manufacturing client in Rocky Mount, NC. The role is a 2nd shift, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM contract opportunity.

You will act as the on-site technical resource, solving equipment issues, assisting with tool troubleshooting, and supporting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in production with automation exposure, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a production/manufacturing automation environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to read and comprehend technical schematics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with networking and database systems
• High school diploma or GED; lifting up to 60 pounds; 2nd shift availability

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Customer: Build strong relationships with production, maintenance, and tool repair teams while serving as the on-site technical resource.
• Respond to Production Issues: Provide timely technical support during line disruptions, helping diagnose problems and recommend solutions to minimize downtime.
• Advise on Tool Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the customer's tool repair specialists by assisting with diagnostics, interpreting fault codes, and recommending repair procedures and corrective actions.
• Support Tool Performance: Assist with tool installations, configuration, software updates, and optimization to ensure equipment performs reliably and efficiently.
• Promote Preventive Maintenance: Recommend maintenance best practices, monitor tool health, and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Communicate Effectively: Keep customers informed, coordinate with internal Reliance One teams when additional support is needed, and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Support Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, troubleshooting processes, and overall customer support.

• Ability to read and comprehend technical schematics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively with production, maintenance, and technical teams
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to work 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, with schedule flexibility as operational demands require
