Job summary

The Finders in Tempe, AZ seeks an accomplished Site Controller to lead the finance function, translate financial data into actionable insights, and drive cash flow and profitability improvements. Hybrid work with remote 2 days weekly.

Required: BS in Accounting/Finance, 7+ years in manufacturing finance, GAAP and cost accounting proficiency; CPA/CMA a plus; strong communication and leadership capabilities to mentor a growing team.

Qualifications

• BS in accounting or finance with CPA/CMA a plus.
• 7+ years of senior accounting/finance in manufacturing.
• Strong GAAP, cost accounting and financial analysis expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across functions.

The Site Controllerwill serve as the financial lead and key business partner to Site Leaders and VP of Finance in a matrixed reporting structure. You will lead annual budgets, forecasting, long-range planning, oversee all business unit accounting, manage inventory accounting, cost analysis, financial analysis & cost-saving initiatives. You will lead mentor & develop a high-performing team to drive continued company growth through leadership, accountability, continuous improvement & professional growth. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator & skilled financial analyst who will translate financial insights into clear actionable recommendations to improve cash flow, profitability and operational efficiency.

Background Profile:

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CMA - a Plus
• 7+ years Progressively Responsible Senior-Level Accounting or Finance experience within a manufacturing environment including managing a team
• Strong GAAP, Financial analysis & cost accounting experience
• You are a Results-Driven Self-Starter who thrives on managing company budgets and overall decision-making toward maintaining financial integrity
• You are an Excellent Communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally, influence & translate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders as well as lead, coach and mentor a team
• You would describe yourself as Highly Analytical, Organized and someone who enjoys planning projects with great attention-to-detail and time management skills
• Public experience - a Plus
• Advanced Excel & ERP Systems experience (Infor Syteline-a Plus)
