Job summary

Hatch Houston seeks a Contracts Coordinator to manage site contracts, supporting mobilization, execution and administration across services, surface and underground construction. You will collaborate with stakeholders to minimize risk and ensure compliant contract performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in contracts management within industrial/mining environments, strong MS Office and SAP skills, and the CPCM credential is a plus. Willingness to relocate is a plus.

Qualifications

• Post Secondary education in Business Management, Law or Engineering preferred.
• CPCM certification is considered an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contracts management, ideally on industrial/mining projects with contracts >$1M.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and contract management for contracts at the Project Site.
• Coordinate contractor mobilization, workforce ramp up, training, certification and signoff.
• Develop contractor processes during mobilization.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract terms.
• Support Change Management including Contract Change Orders and related work.
• Monitor cost and schedule with Project Controls.
• Forecast and manage contractual services and ramp-up per targets.
• Maintain logs for deliveries, mobilization, claims, warranties and changes.
• Archive all contractual documentation and minutes of progress meetings.
• Assist close-out of POs in SAP and archive final documentation.
• Support Contracts Owner with KPIs and audits.
• Ensure mobilization and utilization align with SEM-Hatch and Vale policies.
