Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Site/Civil Project Engineer for our Richmond, Virginia office. You will join a growing team delivering comprehensive civil engineering services to public and private clients, moving projects from concept to completion including design, permitting, and construction phase services.

Responsibilities include coordinating site/civil design, working with the Senior PM and agency staff, supervising junior staff, and delivering plans, reports, and cost estimates on time and within

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–6 years of experience in civil design of land development activities.
• PE in Virginia preferred.
• Proficient in preparation of graphics, exhibits and Site/Civil Construction Plans.
• Strong knowledge of site/civil design for grading, drainage, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate all site/civil design aspects.
• Work closely with Senior Project Manager and agency staff.
• Supervise internal junior staff.
• Prepare/oversee plans, specifications, reports, analyses, cost estimates, and QA/QC to deliver a quality design product.
• Project Manager will establish milestones and monitor progress.
