Job summary

EXP is seeking a Site Civil Project Engineer to join our national Buildings, Telecommunications and Mission Critical practices. Based in the US with hybrid work options, you will design and analyze site civil components for diverse projects and coordinate with clients and agencies.

You will use AutoCAD Civil3D and stormwater modeling tools, mentor junior team members, travel for site inspections, and participate in procurement and fee estimates as needed.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of civil/site development experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Experience with stormwater modeling software (HEC-HMS, ICPR, SWMM).

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering analyses, design, and calculations for site civil work.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and project leaders across multiple time zones.
• Generate detailed reports to demonstrate compliance with local design guidelines.
• Employ a variety of modeling software for drainage and water/sewer system design.
• Active in construction document preparation and independently making design decisions.
• Maintains involvement with projects during construction to respond to RFIs or revisions.
• Prepare scope and fee estimates on portions of projects or change orders.
