Job summary

EXP is seeking an Engineer – Site Civil to join the national Buildings, Telecommunications, and Mission Critical practices. The role supports Site Civil/Land Development projects across the United States with hybrid work possibilities in Chicago, Miami, or Atlanta.

You will work with diverse teams on grading, drainage, and utility design, contributing to complex civil projects. Requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 2+ years of site development experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• EIT certification preferred and working toward PE.
• Ability to travel for 1-2 day site inspection/meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for site development."
• Designs grading and drainage elements for site improvements.
• Coordinates utility conflicts and piping designs as needed.
• Analyzes site plan layout with attention to pedestrian circulation and vehicle movements.
• Prepares erosion control documents including SWPPP submittals.
• Performs hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for piping systems.
• Coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to finalize design details.
• Provides construction support, RFIs, site visits, submittals, and revisions.
