Job summary

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Project Manager to lead federal park and public-land projects in Virginia, Richmond, Williamsburg, or Virginia Beach.

You will coordinate planning, design, engineering, and infrastructure delivery with multidisciplinary teams and clients, ensuring quality, schedule and budget goals are met. The role requires a collaborative leader, strong client relations, and experience with NEPA; licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing and designing multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience with federal or public-sector clients; NEPA knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD, Bluebeam, and collaboration tools.
• Professional licensure (PE or PLA) or registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, engineering, and infrastructure delivery from proposal to completion.
• Lead project execution, managing scope, budgets, schedules, staffing and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, landscape architecture, planning and environmental.
• Partner with teams, subconsultants, and clients to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, scopes of work, and task orders.
• Monitor performance and resolve scope, schedule, budget, and resource challenges.
• Lead QA/QC reviews to meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Manage documentation, reporting, controls, and collaboration tools.
• Support federal project delivery including parks, trails, centers, and infrastructure.
