Job summary

Wood is currently sourcing for a Civil Helpers to join our team in Freeport, Texas for a 3-month project. The role involves concrete finishing, rod busting, and building wooded structures per plans, with site materials hauled to the location.

The team will read blueprints to determine required materials and dimensions for fixtures and forms. Typical duties include preparing layouts, loading materials, and shaping components with saws, chisels, and planes, while maintaining quality and safety on

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience in the craft
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and documents, and perform work independently.
• Experience with forming and finishing structures is helpful

Responsibilities

• Finish concrete and rod busting tasks as directed.
• Build wooded structures and forms according to blueprints or oral instructions.
• Inspect blueprints or plans to determine materials and dimensions needed.
• Prepare layout and transport materials to the site.
• Lay out forms or fixtures and cut materials to size with saws and chisels.
• Ensure safe and orderly job site with proper use of tools.
