Job summary

Wood is currently sourcing Concrete Finishers to join our team in Freeport, TX for a 3-month project. Wood offers health, dental and vision insurance plans, long and short term disability, 401k and Paid Time Off.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required. Responsibilities include interpreting work orders, applying blueprint specifications, and safely using tools and equipment to finish concrete and install forms and rebar.

Qualifications

• Has at least 3 years as a concrete finisher (journeyman).
• Ability to read maps, sketches, drawings, specs, and manuals.
• Able to interpret work orders, job orders, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Interpret information from work orders and blueprints and apply them accurately.
• Identify and use appropriate tools safely for the job.
• Build and brace concrete forms and install rebar.
• Pour, finish concrete and anchor bolts.
• Demonstrate knowledge of crane hand signals and safe rigging practices.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials for formwork and support structures.
