Job summary

Wood is seeking Concrete Finishers for a 3-month project in Freeport, TX. Responsibilities include interpreting orders and drawings, preparing forms, finishing concrete, and safely operating equipment such as forklifts and power drills. Candidates should have journeyman experience and strong safety awareness.

Insurance options, long/short term disability, 401k and PTO are available. Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret work orders, blueprints and specifications.
• Identify safe usage of power and hand tools.
• Demonstrate knowledge of concrete forming, finishing and rebar work.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and apply instructions on site.
• Set up forms and brace structures for concrete pours.
• Finish concrete surfaces to required specs and tolerances.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Follow safety rules and project guidelines.
