Job summary

Goodwyn Mills and Cawood, Inc. (GMC) seeks an Engineering Project Manager for site/civil projects in Tampa, FL. This role demands leadership across design, project delivery, and client management with expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, and MS Office.

PE certification and 10+ years’ experience are preferred to guide scopes, budgets, and schedules. The candidate will mentor teams, ensure regulatory and environmental considerations, and contribute to business development while traveling to field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited university
• Professional Engineer (PE) required
• 10+ years of experience, preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Engineers will be expected to travel to various work sites to perform fieldwork

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from development through closeout
• Lead cross-discipline coordination and QA/QC
• Develop project scopes, budgets and schedules
• Build client relationships and assist with client development
• Ensure accuracy of technical aspects and conformity to standards
• Travel to various work sites as required
