Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering in Bethlehem, PA. The role supports site feasibility studies, fieldwork, report preparation, calculations, and pre-construction documentation while partnering with industry leaders on diverse land development projects.

The position offers hands-on learning, exposure to design plans and specifications, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year Civil Engineering program; GPA preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with analytical and multitasking abilities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Travel may be required depending on business needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and permitting of civil and land development projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, plans, specs, schedules, and cost estimates using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Evaluate soil, terrain, hydrology, and topography for project feasibility.
• Support zoning, permit assessments, and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection support as needed.
• Apply engineering principles and advanced math in project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
