Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Celina, TX is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to support feasibility studies, field work, and design preparations for land development projects. You will work directly with industry leadership on a range of projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a four-year Civil Engineering degree with a 3.0+ GPA, proficient in AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office, and able to communicate effectively in a team environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a four year degree in Civil Engineering with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, plans, schedules, estimates and design documents using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office.
• Evaluate soil, terrain, hydrologic data and topography for project planning.
• Support zoning, permits, sidewalk estimations and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection support and collaborate with team members.
