Hussey Gay Bell in Columbia, SC is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to plan, design, and permit land development projects for public and private clients. You will collaborate with experienced engineers across our Georgia projects and other offices while engaging in business development and client relationships for the division.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET) and a GA PE or ability to obtain immediately, plus 1+ year entry level or 4+ years in civil site design.

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license in GA or ability to obtain immediately.
• 1+ year entry level or 4+ years in civil site design for land development projects.

Responsabilidades

• Apply engineering principles to create land plans and layouts.
• Design land development projects including site layout, grading, utilities, and erosion control.
• Prepare calculations, reports and models.
• Coordinate with Owner/Client and other disciplines to deliver the project.
• Identify and obtain regulatory permits at local, state, and federal levels.
• Produce project plans and specifications and manage project schedules.
