Woolpert, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil Engineering team in Harrisburg, PA and other locations. The full-time internship runs 40 hours per week, 9am–5pm, with no visa sponsorship available.

Applicants should be pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering with 0–2 years of related experience. Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and an interest in hydraulics/hydrology are favored. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering.

• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Hydraulics and hydrology knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Demonstrate strong interest in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Multi-task, prioritize workload, and complete tasks effectively.
• Collaborate with project management to identify impediments and develop solutions.
• Perform pavement assessments and compile data and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
