Job summary

Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil Engineering team in one of several locations, including Cincinnati, OH. This full-time internship runs 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.

Visa sponsorship is not provided; applicants must have work authorization for the U.S. You will design site layouts with Civil 3D, develop grading plans, and gain exposure to hydrology, stormwater, and roadway assessment work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years related internship/co-op experience.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D preferred.
• Hydraulics and hydrology knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs using Civil 3D.
• Contribute to hydrology and stormwater management planning.
• Support project management by prioritizing tasks and tracking progress.
• Assist with pavement assessments and data compilation.
• Other duties as assigned.
