Job summary

HDR's Building Engineering Services Group in Davenport, IA is seeking a Civil Engineer to design and plan production for a variety of civil projects, including sites, drainage, utilities, and paving. You will work with a team of engineers to deliver precise, compliant design solutions.

You have a Bachelor's degree, a PE license, and 3+ years of experience. Proficiency with Bentley Open Roads Designer or Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Proficient with CAD software: Bentley Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil 3D; OpenFlows.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan civil production across varied projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities.
• Perform quantity calculations.
• Prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Contribute as Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects.
• Supervise staff of professionals and technicians.
• Perform other duties as required.
