Site Civil Engineer
Location: Mt. Pleasant, SC (On-site)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Civil Engineer to lead and grow our civil site practice in the Mt. Pleasant, SC office. In this leadership role, you will drive the strategic direction of the site civil group, cultivate client relationships, pursue new business opportunities, and ensure the overall financial success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth & Business Development
• Coordinate and execute a growth plan in collaboration with office managers and practice leaders
• Establish and expand market presence in the Lowcountry region through targeted marketing and networking
• Lead proposal development and contribute technical input to secure new work
• Team Leadership & Staff Management
• Interview, hire, and onboard section staff; monitor staffing needs
• Provide ongoing performance management: set expectations, deliver feedback, conduct 1:1 coaching and annual reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical resource for project teams
• Project Delivery & Technical Oversight
• Oversee design, permitting, and construction support for site development projects
• Ensure high standards of quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction
• Manage departmental budget and allocate resources effectively

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) from an accredited program
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years experience in site civil engineering, including project management
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
