Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. in the Hermosa project near Patagonia, Arizona, is seeking a Tailings and Road Coordinator to oversee TSF, Growth Media and Hardshell facilities, site roads and traffic systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years in mining, civil construction, geotechnical, tailings and dam management, or related heavy industry experience.
• Project management or project coordination experience related to construction, tailings deposition, water management and/or instrumentation.
• Experience with geotechnical or tailings monitoring data (VWPs, InSAR, geotechnical radar, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), Growth Media and Hardshell facilities, site roads and traffic management systems.
• Support safe, compliant and efficient operation through planning, inspection, monitoring, maintenance and contractor coordination.
• Maintain TSF integrity, safety, functionality and environmental performance while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate TSF deposition plans, corrective actions and governance with the RTFE and site teams.
• Manage site roads, traffic controls, signage and access to support safe operations.
