Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Project Subcontracts Specialist to administer and manage subcontract agreements on utility-scale solar or wind projects. You will serve as the primary onsite commercial contact for subcontractors, coordinating with Project Management, Construction, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure compliance and performance.

Position is site-based with up to 100% travel across the U.S. You will oversee change orders, risk mitigation, disputes, and closeout activities, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field with relevant experience.
• 5+ years administering construction subcontracts on large projects.
• 3+ years field-based or site contract management experience.
• Experience with subcontract negotiations, change management, and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Administer subcontract agreements for utility-scale solar or wind projects from mobilization to closeout.
• Serve as the primary onsite commercial representative for subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, scope, schedule, and terms.
• Draft, review, and issue notices for performance issues, delays, and scope changes.
• Manage change events, pricing reviews, and execution of changes.
• Lead commercial meetings to review contract compliance and risk mitigation actions.
